Scanners
In this section you will find documentation and videos on how to link scanners to CrystalPM
Currently, Crystal can integrate with any scanner that uses a TWAIN driver such as HP, Brother, Epson, Xerox, Canon, Ambir, etc.
We also have a custom integration for the ScanSnap series scanners.
Twain Scanners
Integrations for TWAIN driver scanners require a full software install from the manufacture website before they can be linked to CrystalPM.
If the scanner is an all in one with print, scan, or fax, you must install the full software package from the manufacture website that includes the TWAIN scan drivers. (WIA drivers will not work)
TWAIN scanners can be linked by going to the top of Crystal to Configuration - Scanner Options - Scanner Twain or Twain 2
If you need assistance with setting up your scanner to a shared network for all computers to access, please contact your local IT specialist or scanner manufacture. The CrystalPM support team will not be able to assist with this.
ScanSnap
Integrations for ScanSnap scanners require the installation of the Scan Snap Home software which can be found here: https://www.pfu.ricoh.com/global/scanners/scansnap/dl/
If there are multiple Windows profiles that are shared on the same computer, the process will need to be duplicated on each user that wishes to scan.
If you are unsure which models are supported, you can check the link above. At the very bottom of the page, it will give a list of which models are no longer supported.
Most ScanSnap's have the ability for WiFi or network scanning where all computers can access. If you need assistance with this setup, please contact your local IT specialist or scanner manufacture. The CrystalPM support team will not be able to assist with this.
